About us<\/h2>\r\n

\r\n UNION TRADE Ltd. and SZ\u00c9KELYI Ltd. have been owned by the L\u00e1szl\u00f3ffy family for 30 years. The factory, which specializes in shoe accessory manufacturing, is located in the eastern part of the country, near the Romanian\/Ukrainian border, in the village of Sz\u00e9kely, Szabolcs-Szatm\u00e1r County.

\nFounder and managing director Istv\u00e1n L\u00e1szl\u00f3ffy has spent his entire career in the leather and footwear industry. The experience and connections he gained over the years have helped the company group grow into a widely connected and internationally recognized enterprise. Our goal is to establish long-term partnerships based on a broad client base, ensuring both a higher level of service for our customers and the safe operation of our factory. Within our product category, we are currently the only company in Hungary producing at an industrial scale. Our most important partners are German and Austrian shoe manufacturers, and we are considered one of the key producers in this market. \r\n Administrative tasks and sales are handled by a four-member team based in Budapest. Production is organized and managed in Sz\u00e9kely under the leadership of plant manager Kriszti\u00e1n S\u00fct\u0151, who has been working at the factory for over 19 years. Sales are overseen by Istv\u00e1n L\u00e1szl\u00f3ffy Jr., who joined the company four years ago after completing ten years of studies and gaining experience abroad. His involvement ensures the long-term continuity of the company and demonstrates the family\u2019s commitment to its future.

\nThe successful sale of the group\u2019s glove factory, which employed over 100 people, in 2016 enabled the shoe accessory plant to access additional resources to support the technical and financial needs of its growing production.
