Csapatunk – Union Trade x Székelyi

The company currently employs around 40 people in Székely. They are residents of the village and the surrounding communities. They make up the core of our team, and many of them have been working with us for 15 to 20 years.

Our newly hired employees undergo a 3-month training program after their recruitment. This provides them with the opportunity to be assigned to roles that best match their skills. To ensure the smooth operation of production processes, they are also prepared for multiple roles during their training.

During the training period, we place special emphasis not only on machine operation but also on understanding the characteristics of the materials used. Employees learn the quality requirements of the products they manufacture, as well as the specific features of their end use. As a result, every worker understands the important role their product plays in the shoe and the quality standards it must meet.

Management and Administration

The company is managed by a six-member team who have been working together for over 20 years toward shared success. The team is characterized by a family-like atmosphere and close cooperation, allowing us to make joint decisions about our short- and long-term plans, visions, and aspirations, as well as the necessary steps to achieve them.

István Lászlóffy

Owner and Managing Director

The company’s owner and managing director, István Lászlóffy, manages the business from Budapest and regularly participates in the factory’s daily operations in Székely on a weekly basis.

Krisztián Sütő

Plant Manager

The plant manager, Krisztián Sütő, has been with the company for 19 years. He initially worked as a production supervisor and, at the age of 36, independently took over the management of the company’s production in Székely.

Katalin Pető

Administrator

Katalin Pető handles the entire administration of the Székely factory and also serves as the Plant Manager’s assistant, taking care of the daily operations of the facility.

István Lászlóffy Jr.

Sales Manager

István Lászlóffy Jr., responsible for sales, maintains contact with the buyers and technicians of existing and new clients and supports the Managing Director or other team members in several projects from Budapest.

Elvira Kovács

Office Manager

Elvira Kovács has been working with István Lászlóffy for over 30 years. Her responsibilities include managing finances, maintaining operational contact with clients, and handling any other tasks that support the work of the Managing Director.

Erzsébet Ghémes

Logistics and Administration

Erzsébet Ghémes has been a member of the team for 18 years. Her responsibilities include invoicing, logistics, incoming invoice verification, and accounting liaison.
